The Centre for Sustainability Through Research & Education

The goal of research at CSRE and MODUL University Dubai is to promote the approach of applied research utilized by our faculty, consultants and students to address real-world challenges and use innovative methods to drive progress across society and  organizations in a sustainable manner with measurable impact. Faculty and students seek to engage in research projects that yield feasible solutions to real challenges faced by firms, industry associations, civil society, and governmental bodies in the UAE and abroad.

CSRE, MODUL’s fully-integrated Research Centre seeks to overcome the institutionalized separation between basic research, which is dedicated to producing knowledge without regard to its usability, and applied research, which is carried out with a conscious view on its direct applicability in our daily lives.

Applied research constitutes a central pillar of CSRE’s approach to bridging the skill-set and knowledge-gap between academic, institutions and society at large.

Prof. Dr. Jörg Finsinger

 International Management Rating of insurance companies, no sponsor, consumer focused report on financial returns of contracts and comparisons of efficiency MOUNT ONYX have published several research reports in cooperation with Jörg Finsinger, providing unique and comprehensive analysis of online insurance in Europe such as for instance some reports entitled “Online Insurance Trend Report”. Similar reports have been published in several languages and several countries.
